gave in, ordered my first bedbug!

louise- have u ordered one via the mailing list? thought i saw the name on there when i put mine on, i got a bedbug on here preloved to try and love it, it looked so comfy, we put fleece over the top for bedtime though, worked well, but then so far the only nappies to leak overnight were imo the worst invention eva, bambino mio, used them and nearly didn't carry on with cloth, then i found cnt...hehe the rest is almost history!

Nope, there's a co-op on another forum I belong to where we're placing a large order so we get a discount. I have ordered from the database before though. We started with the dreaded BMs too.

tory- don't blame u, they r fab, i'm in love, sadly with a nappy but hey! hehe am allowed to order one per month my dh to be has said.as i don't use disposables and i breastfeed i'm allowed to use the money i save,yay! can see me getting a few more, maybe 2 in each size so he has one on one in the wash kinda thing (or perhaps three since we wash on every third day.....)

louise-oh that's good, that u get a discount, i guess the more u order the more u save too here where i live bm nappy sets r the only ones in shops and i had a rather heated debate with a shop owner over them the other day, she reckons they r the best on the market. told her she should look online, i can't even give mine away!

ugh, just wanted to add that i hate bambino mio with a passion and reckon they are giving new mums very blinkered ideas about what cloth nappying is all about. they put me right off when i had bailey but luckily i researched a bit more, found tots bots, then here and the rest is a very expensive history! They were horrid, leaked all the time and did'nt fit at all. i do use the prefold things though still as changing mats

yes i have to agree, my favs r tots bots right now, the bamboozles with the funky wraps, i can get a great fit on ds with them even if the size 1's have to be nippa'd too as the tabs overlap still. i got some bg's but not really liking them, maybe they will grow on me, i find they leak at the sides which drives me crazy.

i think bambino mio should def go, how they r still in business when u can be given there sets for free from disgruntled mums i'll never know!

We didn't get on with the Dreamscapes with the mf core but like Louise I have ordered through the co-op and am getting a yummy dreamscape with oc core

oooh my order from bonnie is all paid now bedbug ordered in 'monsters' purple/green/turquoise/orange sounds interesting! there was brown in it too but asked for that to be kept out. not bad price really, although i don't know if i'll get a custom's charge? i knwo victoria from jabula nappies had one, but i guess that's on a large order right? pass. but am well excited, already dreaming up the nebula one we want next.

oh and i bought one in pale pink recently, would it be sacrlidge (sp!) to dye it turqouise with a machine dye to make it a bit nicer? it has a pink fleece inner that i doubt will dye, but i just wondered if anyone else would dye a bedbug?
