Fluff n Stuff absorbancy

Postby Emma1977 » Sun Jan 17, 2010 11:46 am

For all those of you who own/have owned F&S I would just like to know how much more bulky the hw version is compared with the regular. Are the inserts detachable? I want to keep the nappy as trim as poss so I can get it under Max's clothes. I was thinking of erring on the side of caution and ordering the hw as I could always use it as a night nappy.

I was also wondering if these nappies can be used without a wrap?

I've never used any nappy without a wrap, Bella is too heavy a wetter, so can't help there.

F&S nappies are generally very trim. I don't think there is much difference at all between the standard and heavy wetter versions. All the inserts are removable for easy drying, but you can't seperate the elements of the insert to change it from HW to nromal, for instance.

Thanks as it helps to know that the inserts can't be separated. Do you find they fit ok under regular clothes?

Erm, don't know as Bella wears wool 100% of the time.

I haven't tried FnS yet but I find that I have trouble fitting any fitteds under 'normal' clothes. We prefer soakers with tights and dresses, and fleece and wool longies.

  everything always seems to come back to wool and longies, one part of my stash that is currently non-existent. Am definitely gonna have to correct this in the new year. Here's to more paypal acc bashing :wine:

I have 2 F&S HW fitteds and they are lovely and trim, no more bulky than any of my other fitteds which include DNF, HL, HO etc...

AFAIK the heavy wetter style have the additional snap in bit, in the main snap in bit - so they can be reduced slightly, but theres no need, theyre not bulky.

Scarlett wears hers under wool or under her DNF large wraps under jeans/trousers etc with no problems.

Cant rave about these enough lol.
