Toddler fitted

Postby banana » Thu Mar 25, 2010 1:54 pm

Im thinking of putting ds into fitteds for a while before we potty train so he can feel when he is wet. :giggle: Mean i know!! :giggle: Would like some advice on good fitteds for a 2 year old that has a fabric inside that he will be able feel wet with!! If you get what i mean. And also what should he wear over it.

Thank you

Wee Notions Northern Lights? Their larges run quite big and they're pretty reasonably priced. I'm loving fleece and wool longies over fitteds at the moment, although you could probably pick up a few PUL wraps more cheaply. Mother-ease are good and pretty easy to come by.

Clwt twts, WN NL (BTP fits Dawn! ), DnF Large fits Dawn too.
Wraps wise, L UDSS wraps fit, XL Poochies (bought mine pre-loved so dunno where they're from), and One Life Size 3

Fleece is good too, and wool you might pick some up pre-loved for a good price. Fleece is the cheapest and pretty easy to sew yourself if you have a machine.

I'm selling some size 3 Clwt twts and a size 3 One Life wrap too  We just don't reach for them now really. but they fit dawn brilliantly

ETA: Dawn is 2 years old, but she's in 5-6/6-7 clothing  just to give you an idea of size.

Thank you all. Do you find they acknowledge the fact they are wet in the fitteds? :-?

Dawn would happily sit in a dirty nappy all day if I let her, but she's the same with sposies too so I think it's just that she puts playing and not being bothered by mummy, higher than having a dry botty :hohoho:
Don't use a staydry liner and they should feel the difference

TBH I don't think it bothers them if they are wet or not. Gracie is doing really well at toilet training, she can go all day at home bar bummed and uses the loo all the time and asks to go as well but as we just started at the beg of the week and she isn't talking added to the fact that it takes on average 4 trips to the loo before she will let go I out a nappy on her and she was neither up nor down about it
