size 2 on NB?

Postby nappymania » Thu Apr 01, 2010 7:56 am

Hi,
I've a question... I will want to buy some fitted diaper for my newborn, but I haven't a big budget. I've many prefold that a friend gave to me and a few pockets, but now I want to buy Little Lamb diapers! For first times I think I will use my prefolds, and when she was 3-4 month I want to try with fitted
My question is: size 2 of LL can fit a newborn or a 3-4 months baby? Can I adapt this size, perhaps by reducing it in front?

Sorry for my english

Thank you! xx

Silvia

yes you can - they will be more bulky than buying a size one but you can fold down the front and fasten it with a nappy nippa, this should make it small enough for an average 3 month old :D

Some do a size 2 that is Birth to potty for instance. Size 2 of the flexitots has poppers on the front to reduce the rise. Rather like on a bumgenius but as a fitted. If you are thinking of using Little Lamb have you seen the coupon for a free nappy in the Mother and Baby magazine. The magazine costs I think £2.90 but you get a nappy and a wrap so well worth it.

I personally wouldn't use a size 2 on a small baby as I think they might be too bulky and you could have a problem with clothing as much clothing is designed for disposables.

Yes i know, but my budget is very limited at this moment, and I prefer to have a birth to potty nappy...
I'm happy to know that is possible to use size 2 LL from 3 month!!
I would so much to buy the Mother and Baby magazine, I know that there is a voucher for a nappy+wrap, but I'm in Italy!  And here nobody use cloth nappies!

Thank you!!
