Anything made with bamboo or bamboo velour should stay soft, so little lambs, bambinex, cheap holdens landings (bedbugs are good as day nappies for a heavier wetter) etc

Using various pockets stuffed with hemp and bamboo but still leaking in no time.

Pockets are awful for us, never found one yet that works no matter how cheap or expensive ... I'd second Bamboo Little Lambs they are lovely! Otherwise like others said anything bamboo is a good bet for staying soft.

I can't recommend anything else cheap I am afraid as I have a fancy-WAHM addiction. Try the classifieds?

i think my most absorbant fitted was an ellas house hemp nappy. not sure how soft it will stay. none of my nappies are soft, unless i tumble dry. (i think it's due to the water). prob the best are little lamb bamboo, elbee , and good mama
