Maternity allowance?

I filled mine in online and then printed it off to post. You choose your best 13 weeks out of the 66 weeks before your EDD and send those payslips or proof of pays off along with the letter and your mat1b. I think you have to have earned the amount that SMS gives you (£128) in the 13 weeks that you choose to get full amount, but if you don't have the full amount you still get some. As I said before though self employed people don't need to do any of this, as long as you have paid your Class 2 NI contributions during that period.
