I'm really looking forward to the summer holidays. I love having the kids at home. But I must confess I'm panicking a bit if the weather continues to be this bad all summer. I've started to put together a list of stay at home activities that we might do. I also have 5 kids aged 11, 8, 7, 3 and 9 months.
Here's my list so far:
Baking
Decorating biscuits
Playdough
Beading, Jewelry making
Sticking/glueing
Wet felting (had so much fun with this at Easter)
Sewing
Video/filming activity (make a film using their iTouch)
Board games
Movie afternoon with popcorn

I'm planning on putting together a box of rainy day goodies including sticker books, magic painting, craft stuff, pens notebooks, scrap books etc. that's a job for tomorrow afternoon before I pick them up from school.

Have a look at Activity Village, there's loads of ideas there. :D We're having an Olympics inspired week next week  (Olympic crafts, food and a mini Olympics competition)
