WNSS Customs - colours to go together.... *Further Question*

Hello, I am in the middle of choosing some custom WNSS, but need so advice if you will.

Will the pumpkin spice gelato look ok border cut with the orange madness limited edition jersey?

Also we are after one with a cow print minkee border and cow with umbrella embroidery on the back - however no matter how I look I cannot decide which colour would go best with these as the main part of the nappy. Am open to anything bar hot pink/pale pink - as even though it is for DD I am trying to have some more neutral nappies in her collection too.

Also getting the huckleberry gelato minkee cut with purple ooga booga - but know this will be fine as can see it on the site!

Also does anyone know how the sizes work, DD is 16lb3 and measures 15" waist, 9" thigh and 15.5" rise (rise measured over a tots size one and nautrebaby wrap so on fact she is much tinier!!!). I dont mind if it is on the bigger side of fitting to start with as would like it to last a fair while - I was going to go for the medium with standard rise - but would I be better getting the large with medium rise instead? <confused>

Thanks

Can anyone please advise me if the AI2 is much better than the WNSS? simply because I can get 3 BBOS combi inserts (already have 3 for other nappies) for £10 delivered if I opt for pockets, whereas if I go for AI2 with poppered inserts then it will be £5 a piece (so £15) plus postage at cost. See I am more than willing to do it this way if they are much much better - but to be honest have no idea what difference it actually makes and therefore don't know what to do for best! Are the AI2's more reliable, better fit etc, or are the same in every way besides the fact that it has extra poppers for the insert? <totally confused> any advice welcomed!!!!!

E-mail them and ask, they will send you pics of what the fabrics look like together.
Size wise, Gracie is a long 21lbs ish and she wears a medium, I haven't tried a large yer, she has skinny legs and I don't want to risk leg gape. x

My lo is about 16lb has a 9 .inch thigh and 17 waist with about a 15 inch rise and the mediums are still too big!we get leg gape and leaks.we're also still in small minkis for the same reason.

Well, there isn't alot of difference really. The sidesnap pocket is pretty much the same shape as the AI2, but it has a lining of fleece to make the pocket, the AI2, you just popper the insert on top of the nappy lining. I would say the AI2 are perhaps marginally slimmer for this reason, but hardly noticeable. The only real advantage of an AI2 over a pocket is that you can re-use the outer if it isn't dirty and buy extra inserts to use but I tend to change the whole nappy at each change anyway.

Probably not alot of help - the only real way to see which you prefer is to get one of each and give them a try, I have no real preference but dh prefers pockets as there is less for him to worry about getting fitted right at nappy change.

Thank you Annette

I meant to say that I place my WN order last night - so excited!

3 med SS, some new fleece liners and a set of 10 washable wipes :D

We did go for the pockets in the end, as I want to be able to stuff them with anything rather than have to buy several of the snap in AI2 inserts!

Thanks though - I am really looking forward to trying them out, but will be a few weeks yet!

ooooh very exciting waiting for your order to arrive. Can't wait to see pics.

I think I would have gone for pockets too - more flexible in terms of stuffing and boosting.
