Have u started listening to xmas songs yet?

i really love xmas but if we put songs on too early then it will seem like ages b4 its here. was thinking mid nov? but has anyone else started with songs or decorations yet? x

No way. Dec. 1st here for music and dvds, if the boys really want them. Decorations go up the weekend before Xmas usually and come down the week after. I've had enough by then and they always look terrible when the tree is bare of pressies and chocs.

Far too early for me. Don't mind mid Nov for songs but would not play any at home until Dec. I used to put the decorations & tree up a week before Christmas until last year when the boys were older & I was excited so they went up on the 1st.

Personally I hate to see the trees & decs up before December.

Nope, I LOVE Christmas, but its only OCTOBER! End of November I start to get into it, tree goes up 1st December, we watch Polar Express and then its full on festivities for the full month

aww ok then just me well i might wait until nov but im deffo not waiting until dec! if the shops can do it so can i! + anyway its officially xmas when the xmas markets r on + they come in nov!

I'm sure @50ftQueenie has started listening to them after her post the other day!

No fraid not here either. I try and last till the week before to play them at home when we re putting the tree and decorations up. We have lots of birthdays oct/ nov/ dec so don t start christmas till they ve finished.
Love them in the shops in Dec

Im a miserable scrooge and really not a fan of Xmas songs ever, even in Xmas week so def not now!!

Ds2 has his birthday on 10th Dec so we normally don't do tree or decorations etc until after that. They do love their advent calendars though.
