Constipation in little baby - help!

Postby gilbertandmartha » Mon Aug 06, 2012 5:36 pm

Lola's constipated, I'm changing her formula to see if that helps, is there anything else I can do? She is really straining to go and had some blood on the outside of her poop this morning.

tummy massage may help. start at the belly button and do a crescent moon shape in a clock wise movement. palpation helped too, but the doctor may need to do this or show you how to do it.

When we went onto formula we had to use the Comfort milk for colic and constipation. It definitely helped loads with both although he still only poo'd every 4 days or so. Known to us as poo days as it was never just once a day!!

Hope you find something to help soon. We also used watered down juice in very tiny amounts.
