How are you getting on @Kim? Even though it's a Sunday there will always be a duty social worker to deal with w hat sounds like a very serious case of neglect.

Can you offer to have them at yours and contact social services? However hard it is you would never forgive yourself if something awful happened! They may well already be on their radar via school etc so your involvement may help. Hugs
