Why does 2.5 year old wake?

Ben wakes still at night, sometimes a few times a night crying other times maybe once or twice a night.
He sleeps in the bottom bunk his older sister is in the top.
He gets quite thirsty and asks for juice sometimes at night which I might take him to the doctors about.
Other than that I can't work it out, we took his dummy away a couple of months ago.
Any ideas? He still wears nappies disposables at night

Leon still wakes , I have given up trying to figure out why I am going to tackle it at age 3 because I did that with izzy with a gro clock. She was old enough to understand it and took no time at all to crack it

Does he have bottle or sippy cup ? If so just leave it in the room x

Seriously though I often wake in the night for a drink and keep a bottle of water by my bed. I wouldn't be giving juice in the night though, just water. I'd do what Sara says and leave in his bed and explain to him if he wakes to just have a little drink and go back to sleep (worth a try even if it doesn't always work!).

Ok il try that. Yeh I think il make sure he has water instead, it's so easy to fall into a bad routine
