Lesson on Sunday!

Had another group lesson with just Emma and best friend. I rode Alfie again. It didn't go quite as well as the last lesson but i am getting there. It's my canter that lets me down, feel my trot is quite ok.

We had a new instructor and she was great, really explained things well and alot more than other instructor did so we are sticking with her from now on!! :D ...

TTC Cycle 1 - 6 DPO

Well, BB's still very sore...... nice high temp this morning :D not much AF cramps but getting the odd one today, with abit of back aching. I started to sneeze alto yesterday and last night got that tell tale tingly cold feeling in the back of my nose and throat. Runny nose today and feel like I have a really mild cold. Very very tired...... But think that is the cold and being kicked awake at 4am...

Enabling Hibernation in Ubuntu 12.04 on a Lenovo T400

In the hope that this helps someone out there do something that took way too much of my time and so that I don't forget:

1) First off make sure your swap partition is bigger than your RAM otherwise you wont have enough space to save the contents of your memory. Use gparted or whatever takes your fancy. Plenty of help on the net for this so I won't go into it.

2) Hibernation was removed from Ubuntu so you need to get it back into you shutdown menu again:
Open:

sudo nano /etc/polkit-1/localauthority/50-local.d/com.ubuntu.enable-hibernate.pkla

moving house and making nappies

So we're moving house...slowly.

Luckily Mr Frenchveg and I live little, so we're able to transport everything in suitcases between the old rental and the new. Thank goodness for wheely cases! The worst trip for Mr Frenchveg was my crockpot and a load of books all in one suitcase (he packed it!!) but kudos to him for all of the heavy lifting he's done.

A question for the UKers, where do you buy toilet brushes???? Why can't I locate a shop that sells this very necessary household cleaning implement???...
