Two nights ago, while waiting up for our guest to arrive at the house (house being a rather grand word for our accomodation...but it's more than spacious enough for us!) I finally got a chance to sew the first cloth nappy. The elastic sewing is really terrible, but by the time I finally got to the elastic, it was 2:30 am...so I wasn't expecting a work of nappy art. Last night after we got home from an evening out with our guest, I did a quick insert with scraps and finished off the project.

24+5 today. It has been ages since my last entry but I could never put into words what I wanted to say. I have had a few ups and downs and lots of tears to get to this point. I have been doing a pretty good job of ignoring being pregnant up till now and very few people know (or knew) but now that I have this bump, it is getting hard to hard..

OK so today wasn't too bad, felt a bit rubbish this morning and could quite happily have gone back to sleep when Austin got up at 6.20 but I got up and got on with the day. Nausea coming and going, the heat hasn't helped and I have had to eat something about every 2 hours but I am trying to get meals in with snack between and it seems to have worked a bit better. Well last month was a bit of a fizzer, I ended up with the shortest and lightest period I think I have ever had so only tried 3 or 4 of the pads and not properly either!

AF arrived yesterday and I'm so pleased!! :wine:
