No cry sleep solution: Ten day log

Before the plan settling took from 7pm til 10pm or until i gave in and got inbed with isobella. She would not sleep in her cot. Nighttime wakings were upto every hour so started the no cry sleep solution on Monday coupled with changing her cot to a toddler bed.

MONDAY

Nap log
Not a usual day due to long car journey
9.30 fell asleep, by car movement,in the car,and stayed asleep for the journey for 3 hours
3pm fell asleep travelling back by car movement,in the car,and stayed asleep for 1 hour

prebedtime...

My 4th day with cloth nappies ..

Well so far so good - the FLIPs fit really nicely on both the girls, although sometimes I think they seem a little tight on Gracie (2yrs & 1 mth) but in all fairness they are fine.
Gracie has had 2 wee leaks so far, im guessing she's more of a wee gusher, than a slowly trickle wee kinda gal! Iv managed to catch 3 poos so far, all the others have hit the wrap, which im gutted about but im sure once Millie's poo's are becoming a bit more solid they won't run onto the wrap.

Living with a child with severe allergies

On April 12th 2006 we woke up excited, today Jack was 6 months old and starting weaning. I was planning on giving baby rice but I was a poor expresser due to a rubbish manual pump I now know so had no milk to mix it with. I decided to nip out and get him some rusks as these could be mixed with water into mush for him.

We had a busy day so didn't get down to feeding him till teatime ish perhaps a bit earlier. He wolfed it all down and really enjoyed it, within a few minutes though he looked very...

January, snowdrops, and a lot of yarn

The snowdrops in my garden are shooting up into the world again, won't be very long until their flowers come with the promise of Spring approaching.
It's been a cold hard Winter here this year, lots of coal-tits and robins about though, they seem to love perching in the bare Hawthorn and springing up off into the air again.

Winter is a fabulous time to be snuggled up warm indoors of an evening with a ball of yarn and the clicketty of needles working it into something special. My current project...
