the beginning of my blog

Yesterday was our sons first birthday, it was also the day we found out my other half has acute myeloid leukemia, so a mixed bag as days go. Our son is just learning to walk and talk and now he will miss it as he will be in hospital having aggressive Chemotherapy. I'm stating this blog so that I have somewhere to turn to to keep a record that will maybe prove useful to others and so that on the days where I can't remember my own name I can still have a record of what needs to be done and how we...

The end of weaning?!

Well, since I last blogged a long long time ago we have had lots of ups and downs with ds's sleep. As time has gone on, people have been more and more surprised that ds still didn't sleep well (the paranoid part of me says more and more disbelieving) and surprised I was still feeding him, especially at night (a big part of survival, so far as I was concerned). I am enjoying using petit desous nappies with my now eleven month old daughter. She is much happier in them than disposable nappies. I buy all my nappy and baby swim products from littlepants.co.uk We trialled a whole range of nappies when Hannah was tiny before choosing these.

another delivery

After another late and disturbed night last night, I woke just in time to hear the postlady knock on our door with the first part of my babykind delivery. This time it was the flat terrys (terries?) I'd ordered. I got all confused at first and thought she'd mixed up the order, but it's actually all fine.
