Christmas Wreath

Postby Woozle35 » Sun Oct 09, 2011 10:38 pm

12 steps on how to make a wreath.

I make my own wreath every year. I get wire and make it into a circle and then a cut holly (from a hedge across the road) and weave it in and out. I will take a picture and add it here when I have done it this year.

And some different ideas

Yay I'll be making a wreath this year too. Made a bauble one last year, considering either a rag one or a balloon one this year.

We've never had a wreath (how do you hang them on UPVC doors?). I want to make a yarn wreath. Not sure how it will last outside, but shouldn't be too bad as our door doesn't usually get wet in the rain.

I'd love to make a wreath but not sure if it would turn out that well. Great links though, will have a look through.

I'm not sure Shadow, ours is a wood door, I will look for you later and post on here.

Have a go, they are much easier than you think.

I use those 3M removable hook things (these ones http://www.amazon.co.uk/Command-Medium- ... B000QTWKNK ) they stick really well, I had mine on our outside door all through christmas with the snow and freezing temps.
