Princess/Fairy party ideas please

Postby Miss_Purple » Mon Aug 06, 2012 5:35 pm

DD is 3 next month  and is heavily into pink, princesses and fairies. We're thinking of hiring a small hall so I need some inspiration and ideas for activities. So far I'm thinking crown making but not sure what else. Spam me with suggestions please, especially you creative types @Louise ;-)

What about large beads for making braclets and necklesses, fariy wings that they can decorate how they want. Those you can get in poundland round here so not sure if you can where you are)

Are you having boys at it? Might be an idea to do princesses and pirates, or princesses and knights? Also opens out the creative options a bit!

A castle cake is good, and you could decorate other food with flags!

I'd be doing the usual party games they love, but maybe theme the music, prizes etc. Pin the crown on the princess?!

Hire a bouncy castle?

Face painting.

Decorate your own cake table

Colour your own shield / crown

Def do the usual games like pass the parcel and musical statues.
