August book club book...

I'm off to carry on reading in a minute as, I must admit, I'm actaully starting to enjoy the book. Just wondered though, does anyone else think that when your reading about Lisbeth the book seems just that bit more interesting, when your back with Blomkvist, everything seems to drag out a bit too much and I find my mind wandering a bit? Just curious to see if anyone feels the same? (I am still in the earlier parts of the book though).

Not sure but I think that is intentional. The book is called 'the girl with the dragon tattoo' after all. Know what you mean though. Off to have another bash now. PITA trying to concentrate with children in the house!

My copy's still on order at the library Not sure I'm looking forward to wading through the first few chapters but it's cost me 90p to get hold of the copy so I'll have to plod on (or at least read what you all say about it so I can tell dh if he accuses me of not reading it ). Don't know how I'll cope with having that and the September book on the go at the same time though!

Oh no! That doesn't give you long. My library manage to get my copy in the next day, for free. And it was brand new, never before been opened 90p seems a little excessive to order a book from a library,

Couldn't put it down in the end and have just stayed up to finish it while DH settled Grace

It's the same here to order a book at my library (Leeds City Council). It's annoying because it only used to be 20p til about two years ago then they hiked the price up.

I am so very nearly finished, at least I know "who dun it" so no one can spoil it for me but I hope to finish it tonight so I can start discussing it on Tuesday
